It’ll be available for the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus and is, “close to the green of the iPhone 12 and iPhone 11.” In between those, the iPhone 12 range included a Green, which was a light, minty shade.Īccording to this new report, it’s the iPhone 12 and iPhone 11 versions that are closest to the upcoming color.

In 2022, the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro had a mid-year refresh which added, respectively, Green and Alpine Green to the range. In 2020, the iPhone 11 Pro debuted a Midnight Green shade, while the iPhone 11 had a Green finish in its range. This is a color Apple often uses for the iPhone, since the iPhone 5c. That’s at odds with this report, then, which says that the new color “may be a little lighter” than the purple on the iPhone 14 Pro while still being “very deep”.īut the report has another color to put on the list, and this is a brand-new addition. Only a matter of hours ago, the tweeted, “I still remain skeptical about the red 15 Pro, having seen nothing of it”. This claim, from the reliable Unknownz21 and reported in detail by Gordon Kelly here on Forbes, is surprising because PRODUCT(RED) has been a staple of the iPhone range for years-though admittedly never on a Pro iPhone. There has been a suggestion that Apple won’t release a red iPhone 15. The report comes from the same account that correctly predicted the hero color for the iPhone 14 Pro, that is, Deep Purple. Now, back to the colors.Ī new report from an account on Weibo, spotted by 9to5Mac, suggests what colors we can expect to see this September.

Well, there we are, though I’d say those very specific figures seemed anything but casually at first glance. Oh, and finally, if you click on the ITHome link above, you’ll see it’s been updated to add the disclaimer that one user denied the news and said that the battery capacity was “said casually” and asking, “Why do some people take it seriously?”. As for the non-Pro iPhones, assuming it takes the A16 chip found in the current iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max, when combined with the efficiencies that iOS 17 is likely to bring, we may even see longer battery life here as well. Let’s remember that this is not terrible news: the iPhone 14 Plus has the longest battery life of any iPhone ever, and the iPhone 14 Pro Max just goes on and on, even beating the iPhone 14 Plus in certain metrics.Īnd the inclusion of the A17 chip in the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max will likely bring longer battery life thanks to the 3nm fabrication expected for this processor. His sources were telling him that this report just didn’t stack up and that battery life is likely to match the iPhone 14 series.

One of the most incisive takedowns of the rumored upgrade was by Gordon Kelly, here on Forbes. But it turns out to be a case of optimism bias, a majority experience where most of us believe that, given two equally likely outcomes, the better one will prove to be true.

Everything is consistent, even during the night, selfies are natural and high quality and videos are just the best you can find. Then there was the iPhone 13 series and again a step up in battery life, so another leap forward for the iPhone 15 makes perfect sense.

Even though I was not really surprised at first by them, the more I use them, the more I appreciate having this device. Lastly, I want to briefly talk about the cameras. The only thing I dislike is the slow charging compared to other flagships on the market, but I usually charge my device at night so it doesn't really bother me that much. The battery life on this phone has really impressed me, I can get 7h of the screen on time on a daily basis, which is more than I expected for this tiny battery. It's also extremely efficient so there are no heating or battery issues. Social media scrolling, editing pictures, and heavy gaming are easily handled by the A15 Bionic chip. The performance is out of this world, no other phone even comes close to it. The screen also offers one of the best quality you can find in the market, I just wish it was a bit brighter for outdoor use.

The glass front and back combined with the stainless steel just make up for an amazing design. Starting with the design, I can say that this is one of the best-built smartphones I've ever seen.

After 6 months of daily use with this phone, I want to share my experience with it.
